New box, new components, and new artwork
In this definitive edition of the game, Hey, That’s My Fish! has been repackaged in an easily storable small box. The new penguin miniatures are colorful, more detailed than ever before, and bursting with individual personality. The new art commissioned by FFG for the compact set of ice tiles clearly displays the number of fish on each tile with lively and colorful renditions.
BGG Joe Wyka:"Sometimes the greatest ideas are the simplest. Easy enough for a 4-year-old to play, but engaging enough to draw in even the most strategically minded adult. Great stuff."
BGG Jen Kuipers:"Wow. Just Wow. Its pretty. Its SOOOOO simple yet surprising. Board shrinks, the most obvious strategy isn't the best, you have to plan where you'll end up. Easy enough for a kid to play, intreguing enough for the gamer = perfect match. That's value! This one is going to grow on us."
BGG Doug Gray:"Light rules but it really makes you think! Adults, don't be scared off by this game. This game is a surprise hit! "
BGG Steve Oliver:" Good abstract strategy game for kids. Very good with 2 players. Plays quick and can offer some tough choices -- do I grab more fish or block another penguin? Excellent game to introduce people to strategy games."
BGG Paul Smith:"A quick light game that plays equally well with kids as it does with hard core adults? A great theme with cool bits? I'm in :)"
BGG Jason Nachtrap:"This is quite possibly one of the best short filler games I've ever played, and one with enough depth that repeat plays are always fresh. Scales nearly perfectly from 2-4 players, and it's quite easy (and fun) to play 3-4 games in a row. Highly recommended."
BGG Bob Aarhus:"A deceptively simple yet brutal game featuring nothing more than penguins, fish, and ice. Gleefully cutthroat."
BGG Eddy Bee:"Great game! Normally, I loathe abstract piece moving games, but this one is quite engaging - childishly simple on the surface, but full of strategic goodness and depth. The random board setup adds to the challenge and replayability. And how can you not like a game with penguins!"
BGG Brett Kildahl:"This is a very nice abstract disguised as a Eurogame. Its best feature is probably that it is enjoyable for people of all skill levels, which makes it a good game to play with children."
